This application offers a premium, ad-free experience for users seeking to learn the Devanagari script.

Devanagari is a left-to-right abugida that has its roots in the Brahmic script of North India. It comprises 14 vowels and 33 consonants, making it the fourth most widely adopted writing system globally, utilized in over 120 languages. Notable languages that employ this script include Sanskrit, Hindi, and Nepali.

The app is structured to facilitate a gradual increase in complexity as users become more comfortable with recognizing various letter forms, progressing towards reading and constructing full words. Initially, learners should focus on the vowels, practicing their writing before attempting the associated quiz. Subsequently, users can incorporate diacritics into their practice.

After mastering the vowels, attention should shift to consonants, which may require more time due to their quantity. Following the consonant studies, users are encouraged to take quizzes that involve consonant-vowel ligatures and eventually tackle quizzes with conjunct consonants.

Additionally, a word scramble game provides an engaging way to assemble complete Hindi words. Users with a Devanagari keyboard installed on their devices can also participate in a typing game to enhance their skills further.
